#20250901 - BE Mech 4th Year student studying in Tuticorin

The student, currently in his final year of engineering, was referred to Aalayam, one of the previous beneficiaries.

His father was a small shop tailor and lost his business during the Covid lockdown. He is now working in a bakery for daily wages, earning Rs400/day. His mother is a coolie, and his sister is doing her college.   

He has got some concessions from the govt & the college for his tuition fees, which are now only Rs.7700, but commuting fees are around 2200Rs/month. He is working in a nearby petrol bunk part-time to manage these fees.

Aalayam has supported the student for the first 3years and will support the student with a sum of Rs. 20,000 towards his 4th year college fees.
